Understanding how to onboard users and manage access

User Registration (End Users)
For people who will use Pathway to Excellence with their own isolated data

✅ Use This For:

  • Students, researchers, or end users of Pathway to Excellence
  • People who need their own private chat history
  • Users who should NOT see your conversations or data
  • Anyone who needs an isolated, personal account

📋 How It Works:

  1. User visits the Pathway to Excellence URL
  2. User clicks "Sign In" and creates/uses their own Manus account
  3. User submits a registration request explaining why they need access
  4. You receive a notification and review the request at /admin/approvals
  5. You approve or reject the request
  6. Approved users can access Pathway to Excellence with their own isolated data

Data Isolation

Each user has their own conversations, images, and history. They cannot see your data or other users' data.

Manage Access (Collaborators)
For people who will help you manage or develop the project

✅ Use This For:

  • Co-developers or technical collaborators
  • People who need to access the Manus project dashboard
  • Team members who will help manage the application
  • Anyone who needs to see project analytics, code, or database

📋 How It Works:

  1. In Manus dashboard, click "Manage Access" button
  2. Enter collaborator's email address
  3. They receive an invitation to access the project
  4. They sign in with their email and access the project as a collaborator

Shared Data Access

Collaborators added via "Manage Access" will see YOUR data (conversations, images, etc.). This is NOT suitable for end users who need isolated accounts.
